I know, what a long-winded heading. Before you refer me to a website creator, just know that the above big words are a complicated way to say we are a family of 4 chasing our body’s optimal innate wellness. Let’s dive in below.

What that means

  • We are instincual beings no matter how far we try to push the existence down. Thanks to the Digital Age, we are as stagnant as we have ever been, leaving us sluggish, fatigued, and malnourished. Luckily Mother Earth has placed remedies for all of these symptoms exactly where we are, exactly for us.

  • In today’s stagnant day & age, we have decided to rely on companies to tell us the truth. Unfortunately, with the fillers, chemicals, endocrine disruptors, and potential carcinogens, these toxins have become part of our every day life and routine. We decided to do something about it.

  • No matter our location, age, season of life, or budget, we do have a say in our exposure. We can choose to continue living with the toxins being tossed everywere near us, or we can take charge of our own well-being. We can be an advocate for ourselves with what we put in, on, and around our body. We are here to help.

Hi, I’m Michelle. Maker of children, dad jokes, and home & body personal care products. After tons of research, a decision was made to live a ‘cleaner’ life without really knowing what that meant. Once I cleaned up my own personal care products and home cleaning supplies one September, I got pregnant by November. Wowed and astounded, the research continued. I have learned so much about altering our predisposition by eating cleaner and surrounding ourselves with a toxin and endocrine disrupter-free environment, I felt compelled to share the wealth of information.

Now knowing everyone has the ability to make changes like this, and can often feel overwhelmed by the surge of changes deemed necessary, I wanted to create quality and affordable personal care items to help someone get started. Whether that’s as simple as a new lip balm, lotion bar, counter spray, or facial toner, you will find all of my products are made entirely with intention, love, and a bit of Mother Earth.

My why. My first son has eczema we are trying to understand, and one of my first batches of lotion and salves did the trick. My second son is too young (yet) to have particular issues, but we are ready in case they creep in. My husband is my foundation on which I am able to build this ideal life. From bouncing ideas, to working until 1AM, to sitting on the couch and doing nothing, he has supported me through this journey and encouraged me to keep reaching. This is us, and my why.

  • Sustainable herbs mean a few things. For one, they are sustainably grown and not overharvested. We vet every herb and every shipment to ensure there are no impurities in any batch we receive. The land they are grown on is not filled with pesticides, growth hormones, or glyphosate. They are foraged from the land where there are an abundance of plants to choose from so we are not creating an extinct plant. We ask permission from the plant and request its medcinal properties be used to its fullest extent prior to infusing or using with our products. Happy plants=happy products=happy you. :)

  • Our bodies are accustomed to living with the seasons. This means roots are more harvested for food and topical applications in the winter when the greens and blooms of plants are resting for next spring. And so on and so forth. There’s a reason we like warming spices for fall before the hibernation of winter. Our skin and our bodies will respond more sucessfully with those herbs that are in more abundance in the season we are in.   • Our tallow is made and infused in house. We source the beef fat from a regenerative Amish farm in Pennsylvania. There are no growth hormones, antibiotics, or grain added to the cow’s diet. They are grass fed, grass finished, and pasture-rotated daily.

  • Made with intention means in the course of making every product, each ingredient is placed in the cauldron with the thought and purpose of their medicinal qualities The old saying “the most important ingredient is love” is elevated to enuring every product knows it’s duty and performs it as needed.
